Both Roni Tillery and Shelbie Myers hit home runs and Tillery drove in six runs and Myers four for the Lady Bearcats as they pounded Cossatot River 20-0 Monday.
Presley Walker, who followed up a three hit Friday with another three hit day on Monday, singled in the first and followed Ellie Smith around the bases when Tillery hit her home run and the Lady Bearcats (11-6, 3-2 Conference 3A-4) opened a 9-0 lead through a half inning.
The did so although the only hits the rest of the inning were a double by Cameron Parish and a single by Tori Nobles. Peighton Montalvo was hit by a pitch and there were five walks and an error before the inning ended.
With Myers, Farrah Stringer, and Carolie Diffee all singling to open the top of the second the Lady Bearcats would go on to score seven more runs.
In the third Walker singled, Parish singled, and Nobles drew one of the 10 walks issued. With two down Myers hit a grand slam to make it 20-0.
Nobles threw the thee inning win, allowing five hits and one walk.
The Lady Bearcats will play their second of three conference games this week today when they host Paris at 4:30.
