The Booneville Lady Bearcats completed a Class 4A-6A sweep Friday with a 10-5 win at Class 6A North Little Rock.
Cameron Parish (shown) was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two runs batted in and Roni Tillery drove in three as well.
The Lady Bearcats (15-7) also took advantage of sloppy play by the Lady Charging Wildcats. A first inning error allowed Presley Walker to reach and put two runners in scoring position with nobody out. Tillery drove in a Ellie Smith( (2-for-3) with a fly ball.
Parish followed with her first hit of the day to score a run and she scored on an error that accompanied a stolen base for a 3-0 lead.
The Lady Bearcats loaded the bases with two walks and another North Little Rock error in the second and Tillery drove in a run with a ground ball. Parish added one with a single but another runner was thrown out at the plate.
However, a 6-0 was recognized.
Putting five of six hitters aboard in the bottom of the second North Little Rock drew within 6-3 but Makinley Ensey induced a pop fly and a fly ball to get out of the inning and it stayed 6-3 until the fifth.
Parish doubled leading off the fifth and scored on an error that allowed Shelbie Myers to reach to make it 7-3 but the Lady Bearcats left the bases loaded.
North Little Rock got that run back with a home run but with two down in the top of the sixth Peighton Montalvo and Tori Nobles both walked and Myers was hit by a pitch.
Farrah Stringer reached on another error that plated a run to make it 9-4 but the Lady Bearcats again left the bases loaded.
Ellie Smith tripled in the seventh and scored on a ground out by Tillery to make it 10-4.
A solo home run cut it to 10-5 in the bottom of the inning but Ensey wrapped it up by getting three fly balls.
