The Bearcat and Lady Bearcat tennis teams were finally able to take the court yesterday and won seven of nine sets against Paris.
The home opener comes after one match was postponed twice and another once.
In the girls division it was Raelynn Franklin and Joslin Combs (shown) both winning unblemished sets, 6-0.
In the boys division the Bearcats took three of four sets with Whit Kendall winning his 6-1, Hunter Pollard taking his 6-3, and Braelan Lewis securing his 6-2.
In doubles the duo of Harley Fitzjurls and Malena Loftin made it a sweep for the Booneville girls with a 6-1 set win.
Kendall and Lewis also won a boys doubles set 6-1.
Paris got a win its lone win in doubles 6-3 over Pollard and Jaxon Harger and won a boys singles set over Harger.
The Bearcats will play again on Thursday when they host Jessieville, who is a conference opponent in tennis.
