The Bearcat golf team finished tied for second among the six teams with a team score in a tournament at Cherokee Creek Country Club Thursday.
Four of the five Bearcat golfers came straight from football, one of which it was Cutler Haller who led the team with a 44.
Casey Carter (shown) shot a 45 and Parker Smith a 47 for a team score of 136, which tied Paris with both 9 shots behind Lamar, whose team included the medalist with a 40.
Hector, Mansfield, and County Line were also in attendance and Charleston brought a pair of golfers.
There were no Lady Bearcats available for the event.
The golf teams will next play on Wednesday, September 10, at Cherokee Creek.
