Braelan Lewis and Raelynn Franklin have both been a part of doubles winning teams each of the last two days.
Lewis (shown) teamed Hunter Pollard to win a 6-4 set against a Harmony Grove duo on Monday and was paired with Whit Kendall in a 6-1 set win on Tuesday against a Maumelle Charter team.
For Franklin it was a pairing with Harley Fitzjurls in a 6-3 win against a pair of Harmony Grove netters on Monday and on Tuesday Franklin teamed up with Joslin Combs in a 6-0 win against a team from Maumelle Charter.
Combs just missed having a second doubles win when she and Malena Loftin lost an 8-6 set to a Maumelle Charter pair.
Doubles play has been featured this week as there would be only one singles match on Monday, with Taylor Shaver dropping a set against a Cardinal player.
The two doubles wins on Monday accounted for the only wins in six matches and the two on Tuesday gave the Bearcats/Lady Bearcats a split.
Shaver was busy with cross country on Tuesday and primarily doubles players Kendall, Pollard, and Lewis all took a loss. Maumelle Charter made it a singles sweep in the only girls action with a win over Franklin.
The two outings this week gave the tennis team three at Marcelle Phillips City Park in the last four school days.
On Thursday against Jessieville Shaver and Jaxon Harger accounted for the only doubles win, 6-3, and Fitzjurls was responsible for the only singles win, also 6-3.
