Four different seventh grade Bearcats scored touchdowns and four different players also accounted for defensive turnovers and the Bearcats picked up their first win of the season, 30-0 at Paris.
It was a Jagger Jobb (number 4) fumble recovery that got the Bearcats on their way.
Alijah Pearcy ran the last 7 yards of the 31 yard drive for a touchdown. David Martinez added a 2-point conversion for an 8-0 lead.
Martinez had a sack on the ensuing possession then ran 58 yards for a touchdown after a simulated punt and it was 16-0 – Jobb added the 2-point conversion.
After another Eagle punt it was Deacon Lunsford getting a touchdown run from the 2 – Pearcy had set it up with a 55-yard run – and it was 22-0.
Braxton Ritchie picked off a pass just before halftime.
Ritchie also scored the fourth touchdown on a 10-yard run and Jobb, who had had thrown Owen Houston a pass for 22 yards during the scoring drive, threw to Pearcy for the 2-point conversion to make it 30-0 with 3:22 left in the third quarter.
Camden Earls picked off a pass of the final play of the quarter and Leland Shelafoe recovered a fumble with 32 seconds left in the game.
The Bearcats will next play at 5:30 next Thursday in Lavaca.
