There will be plenty of folks running around the high school and junior high campuses Monday. Literally running around.
That is because head coach Ronnie Denton and the cross country program is hosting a meet.
Denton said today he has commitments from nine schools and is expecting at least 200 runners on the course, which will mirror the course from last year’s district meet.
Starting in the parking lot south of Bearcat Stadium, the course takes runners around the schools and into Raney Park before finishing in the same parking area behind the Donal Elmore Press Box.
The meet is being sponsored by Booneville Family Dental and Dr. Chris Loftin.
