While there are still two Lady Bearcats yet to play, tennis season came to a close yesterday with district tournament losses for the boys.
Taylor Shaver played a grueling three set match with his opponent in the 4 versus 5 seed single bracket game, winning and losing a tie breaker game (7-6) in the first two sets and dropping a 6-3 deciding set.
Also playing yesterday were Hunter Pollard in singles and the doubles teams of Brealan Lewis and Whit Kendall and Caysen Lewis and Jaxon Harger.
All of the Bearcats who earned a district tournament berth will return next season.
