Deacon Lunsford scored 16 first half points and finished with 19 as the Seventh Grade Bearcats pummeled Paris 44-17 Thursday night at Bearcat Gymnasium.
The third straight win for the Bearcats pushes their season record to 5-4.
Alijah Pearcy started the assault with a 3 and although the Eagles answered with one of their own, it would be 16-5 by the end of the quarter.
Lunsford hit a pair of second quarter 3s and scored 10 in the quarter while the Bearcats were building a 31-7 lead.
After an almost even third quarter the Bearcats continued to dominate as Colton Fox, Kaden Hattabaugh, and Jace Miner made their way into the scoring column.

The Seventh Grade Lady Bearcats bounced back from their first loss of the season with an 11-6 win.
Hadley Kimes scored four 4 first half points and the Lady Bearcats (9-1) led 6-3 and Charlotte Green (shown) scored 4 in the second half to build an 11-3 lead.
