A Reed Brackney conventional 3-point play got the Bearcats within 6 of Paris with 4:09 left in the first half and a 3 by Nick Widener made it a 5-point game at 25-20 3:27 before the break.
Paris pushed it to double figures before a Tayden Washburn basket with 2:26 left in the half made it 30-22, but the Eagles finished the half on an 11-0 run and were in total control.
The relative combination of Washburn, Brackney, and Rylie Swint combined for all of the third quarter scoring for the Bearcats but Paris opened a 57-32 lead.
Brackney (shown), who had scored 7 in the second quarter, would score twice more in the final quarter and lead the Bearcats with 13 points. Widener and Washburn both scored 8 points.
