LADY CATS TAKE SET FROM HACKETT

The Booneville Lady Bearcat volleyball team played very well against Class 3A defending state champion Hackett in a nonconference meeting in Booneville earlier this year.

The Lady Bearcats were on the verge of taking a set from the Lady Hornets but let the set get away later when the teams met on September 27.

Although the Lady Hornets would win the match, it was by a 3-1 count as the Lady Bearcats did not let one get away.

Thursday's match closed out a full week of three matches in four days for the Lady Bearcats.

Next week’s schedule will include senior night against Clarksville on October 11 and the conference finale against Green Forest on October 12.

The Lady Bearcats will also host the district tournament.
