IT'S PLAYOFF GAME DAY

It's Playoff Game Day

GLENN PARRISH

Booneville School District | 11/12/2021

For the 25th straight season, there is a playoff bracket that includes Booneville. To put that in perspective Allen Ray was a sophomore the year the streak started. Tonight, his son Rylen Ray is a sophomore.

In all, tonight’s game marks the 45th playoff appearance by the Bearcats though state officials recognize just 43 of them – the 1952 and 1947 postseasons are the exceptions. Using the 45 appearances, the Bearcat playoff record is 71-40, a 0.640 winning percentage.

Bearcat Stadium is hosting its 58th playoff game. The Bearcats are 44-13 in those games, a 0.772 winning percentage.
