The cheering didn’t stop after Friday night's football game for the Cheer Cats.
The Cheer Cats made a trip to Hot Springs for their first competition in preparation for the state championship cheer competition, which will be held on December 17.
At Hot Springs Saturday the Cheer Cats placed third among Class 1A through 3A schools with all female squads.
Head coach Rachel May said the squad will compete four times – the second competition will be this Saturday in Alma – taking feedback from each competition to finalize their routine for the state contest.
Including four alternates, the Cheer Cat competition squad includes 15 members.
The Cheer Cats are the defending Class 1A-3A All Girl champions.
