BEARCAT TOURNAMENT STARTS TODAY

The 8th annual Bearcat tournament gets underway tonight at Bearcat gym. Bearcat teams will take their home floor on Tuesday.

The tournament, which guarantees participants at least two games, will continue Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the finals set for Saturday.

Tonight’s schedule features:
4 PM: Dover v Western Yell Girls
5:30 PM: Dover v Wester Yell Boys
7 PM: Acorn v Danville Girls
8:15 PM: Acorn v Danville Boys

The Tuesday schedule features:
4 PM: Ozark v De Queen Girls
5:30 PM: Ozark v De Queen Boys
7 PM: Booneville v Two Rivers Girls
8:15 PM: Booneville v Two Rivers Boys

Teams who lose in the first round will play on Wednesday and teams who win their opener will play on Thursday.

The top half of the bracket is the Ozark-De Queen and Acorn-Danville games with the bottom half the Booneville-Two Rivers and Dover-Western Yell games.

Finals will be held at 4 and 5:30 on Saturday.
