After falling behind by 17 less than 6 minutes into the game the Bearcats battled back to get within 10 twice but could get no closer against Waldron in a 51-28 loss on homecoming/senior night.
Down 20-3 the Bearcats kept Waldron off the scoreboard for almost six and a half minutes but they could get no closer than 20-9 during that time.
After the lead swelled to 16 again the Bearcats got it back to 25-15 on a pair of Mason Goers free throws just 14.7 seconds before the half.
A Colter Fisher bucket with 6:25 to go in the third quarter cut it to 27-17 but the Bearcats went almost seven and a half minutes without scoring again.
By the time London Lee ended the drought the Bulldogs had built a 40-17 lead.
Fisher led the Bearcats with 10 points.
The Bearcats will wrap up the regular season with a game in Paris Friday night.
