The Lady Bearcats learned Tuesday night they will face Charleston for a third time on Thursday at 4 p.m. in Cedarville in the District 3A-4 tournament semifinals.
The Lady Bearcats earned a bye to the semifinals by winning the regular season conference title.
The Lady Bearcats (24-0) closed out a perfect regular and conference season (14-0) with a 52-19 drumming of Paris on Friday.
The game was relatively close for over four minutes as the Lady Bearcats led only 5-0 and even after a 3 by Heaven Sanchez made it 8-0 it was 8-2 with 2:49 to play in the opening quarter.
The Lady Bearcats scored the next 10 and eventually led 26-3 with 2:38 left in the half.
Sanchez had scored 10 by halftime and she started the second half scoring but would be done with 12 points as the third quarter belonged to Joleigh Tate and Hayley Roberts.
Tate scored seven straight for her side before Roberts (shown) added six, interrupted only by a Linley Garrett basket, and it was 44-9 after three quarters.
Tate would score once more and was finished with 16 points. Roberts was done with eight points and Carah Miller added seven.
