HALL WINS 100 METERS IN OZARK MEET

Winning the 100-meter dash, Trace Hall scored 22 points for the Bearcats in their first track meet of the year Tuesday.

The Bearcats were set to host a meet on February 28 but it was pushed back due to the Class 3A Region 1 tournament being delayed and ultimately finished on that day in Bearcat Gymnasium.

Hall won the 100 meters with a time of 11.59 over the second place runner’s time of 11.91.

Hall, a junior also finished third in a pair of field events, the pole vault and long jump.

In the pole vault Hall cleared 10 feet, claiming third in a tie breaker. In the long jump his mark was 18’ 7.5”.

In the girls division Elizabeth Gray was also third in the pole vault, clearing 7’ 6”.
