Trace Hall won the 100-meter dash at the Mansfield Tiger Invitational on Tuesday.
Hall, who also won the event in a meet in Ozark and was second in the Mena meet, completed the run in 11.42, beating his closest competitor, a Waldron runner, by .38.
Hall (shown ready to accept a baton at Bearcat Relays last year) also placed third in the long jump, clearing 19’ 3.5”.
For the Lady Bearcats, Heaven Sanchez had the bests individual performance with a third place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.08. Carah Miller was fifth in that event with a time of 14.15
Sanchez and Miller also ran legs for the third place 4x100-meter relay team along with Linley Garrett and June Gandarias. The quartet combined to complete the lap in 56.16.
The 100-meter races were part of a day in which Miller scored in five events. She was sixth in the long jump (13’ 11”), seventh in the 100-meter hurdles (19.31), and eighth in the triple jump (27’ 6”).
