Trace Hall won the 100-meter dash in a track meet for the fourth time this year and this time he pre-qualified for the Class 3A state track meet.
Running in the “Last Chance” meet in Clarksville Tuesday Hall posted a time of 11.25.
Hall, who was second by .02 in the only meet he did not win the event, said he has been working on speed drills since football season ended in preparation for a senior high football season.
Hall is expecting the concentration on increasing speed to mean more carries in the backfield next year.
In 2021 Hall got just 14 carries but he made the most of them with 279 yards – a 17.4 yard average – and scoring four touchdowns.
“I think he’ll have his opportunities next year,” football/track coach Doc Crowley said.
