Bearcat and Lady Bearcat golfers took to the links at Cherokee Creek Country Club for the first time in almost two weeks Wednesday.
The delay was caused by a weather induced cancellation of a tournament scheduled in Waldron last week.
In the girls’ division Wednesday Leigh Swint shot a 41, ,which tied for the low round of the day, but Charleston’s team score of 141 topped the Lady Bearcat score.
Angie Brown shot a 60 and both Mary Haynes and Alisa Rogers shot a 61.
With a 47 Noah Harrel led the Bearcat contingent of just four players.
Colt Cobb shot a 48 and Landon Ritchie (shown) a 51 for a team score of 146, which was third among the schools with a full team score.
Macolen Tillery was also on the course for the Bearcats.
Waldron won the tournament with Charleston second. Mansfield was fourth and both Paris and Hackett were represented.
Next week the golf teams are scheduled to be in action on Wednesday at home, and Thursday in Ozark.
