Leigh Swint, the only Lady Bearcat on the course, shot a low round 45 at Galla Creek Golf course and Country Club in Pottsville yesterday.
The Bearcats were led yesterday by Landen Ritchie whose game has continued to show improvement all season. Ritchie shot a 50. Macolon Tillery shot a 53 and Colt Cobb a 56.
Other schools represented in Pottsville were the hosts, Dardanelle, Dover, and Lamar.
Ritchie had fired a 49 in Ozark Thursday, breaking 50 for the first time but it was Tillery (shown) who shot a career best 44 to lead the way. Cobb also shot a 55.
The lone Lady Bearcat in Ozark as well, Swint shot a 47, which was five strokes off the lead.
Also playing in the Ozark tournament were the hosts and Charleston.
Next up for the Bearcats and Lady Bearcats is the district tournament, which will be held Monday at Cherokee Creek Country Club in Booneville.
