The Bearcat cross country team traveled to Lamar to run in the Cabin Creek Run on Tuesday.
Taylor Shaver led the junior high Bearcats with a time of 11:01.6 placing 51st in a packed field of 161 on the 1.6-mile course. Hunter Pollard ran a 11.41.8 and was also in the top half at 73rd.
Aydon Hill and Cooper Lentz also ran but the Bearcats did not have a full five runner contingent for a team score.
For the junior girls Zayla Honey ran 50th with a time of 12:49.3. Phebe Adair was the only other Lady Bearcat on the course among the 161 junior girl runners and was at the midpoint of the pack.
The lone lady Bearcat in the senior girls division was Natalie Blankenship who ran a 33.49 5k.
