The 9th annual Bearcat Classic gets underway at 4 p.m. this afternoon in Bearcat Gymnasium.
The field consists of the same eight schools in both girls play with Booneville, Acorn, Western Yell County, Ozark, Mansfield, Danville, Dover, and Waldron.
There are four games on Monday through Thursday which will allow all participants two games. Championship games will be played on Saturday at 4 and 5:30 p.m.
The Bearcats and Lady Bearcats will play on Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday the Lady Bearcats face Waldron at 6:40 and the Bearcats face Dover at 8 p.m.
The Lady Bearcats won the girls division of the tournament last year. Acorn won the boys event.
