Paris used the 3 pointer to build a lead early then did in the Bearcats one point at a time Friday night, winning 65-51.
Raider Ferguson answered a Paris 3 that made it 5-0 but Paris two more 3s, in addition to a conventional three-point play, before the quarter ended, and led 21-11.
The Bearcats trailed by as many as 15 in the second quarter before Dakota Mattson hit a 3 at the buzzer to make it 32-20.
Paris was 7-of-9 at the free throw line in the third quarter and eventually led by 25.
A 3 pointer by CJ Johnson and three of them from Noah Harrel’s hands allowed the Bearcats to get within 13 with two minutes to go, and another Johnson basket got it it to 62-51.
Four more free throws, the Eagles 21-of-30 on the night, closed out the game for Paris.
With his late surge Harrel finished with 12 points. Colter Fisher also scored 12.
The Bearcats next game is at Two Rivers Tuesday night.
