With Lexi Franklin scoring a career high 26 points, the Lady Bearcats throttled Two Rivers 63-29 on homecoming/senior night Friday.

The Lady Bearcats (14-4, 10-0 Conference 3A-4) got on the scoreboard first on a Karmen Kent basket but Two Rivers ran off the next seven points.
Kent and the Lady Bearcats scored the next 16 points and were in complete control from that point.
Kent started the run with a pair of free throws. The senior was dominant in the opening quarter with seven points, six rebounds and an assist.
She went on to record a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds on the night.
Franklin scored the final points of the opening quarter and the Lady Bearcats were already up 14-7. She scored the first four of the second quarter to finish the run.
Two Rivers got a basket before Kent answered with one of her own and with another Franklin basket and a Layla Byrum 3 it was 24-9.
By halftime it as 30-17and Franklin had scored 14.
Two Rivers started the second half scoring with a 3 but the Lady Bearcats scored 21 interrupted only by one free throw and led 51-21.
Franklin had 12 points in the outburst, which Homecoming Queen Carah Miller started, and the starters were done with 2:16 left in the third quarter -- senior Leigh Swint just missed recording a double digit game, finishing with nine.
Two Rivers would avoid the sportsmanship rule until the 4:15 mark of the final quarter when Linley Garrett scored two of her six points.
Roni Tillery had three fourth quarter assists and J.J. Ketts and Ciara Smith got involved in the scoring.
The Lady Bearcats are back in action at 6 p.m. Saturday at Paris to make up a game that was postponed on Tuesday.
