Delaying the Waldron Junior High Bulldog Relays by a day gave the Booneville Junior High Bearcats a more robust roster and resulted in 128 points and a meet win, outpacing second place Mansfield by 29.5 points.

The Bearcats won seven events with Hunter responsible for four of those.

Warren won the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of 11.36 and 23.65. He also won a pair of field events with a long jump of 18’ 10” and a shot put toss of 47’ 2”.

Chase Shelton and Conner Lentz also won field events with Shelton first in the triple jump at 35’ 10” and Lentz first in the high jump at 5’ 6”.

The final first place was the 4x400-meter relay team of Lentz, Conner Droemer, Devon Ritchie, and Nathaniel McKinney whose 4:10.29 wrapped up the meet.

The 4x800-meter relay team of Levi McMaster, Sean Pennington, Taylor Shaver, and Parker Smith took second running 10:15.54.

Nathan Wilcox cleared 8’ feet to take third in the pole vault and McKinney was third in the 400-meter dash (58.41).

Placing fourth were Zaine Penny in the discus (112’ 1”), Droemer in the long jump (17’), and the 4x200-meter relay squad of Shelton, Ritchie, Rhett Nietert, and McKinney (1:47.29).

Finishing fifth were Seth Wilson in the shot put (39’ 10.75”), Shelton in the 200 (25.51), and Lentz in the 300-meter hurdles (49.19).

Taking sixth were Smith in the 800-meter run (2:29.49) and Shaver in the 1600-meter run (5:34.24).

In seventh were Clayton Green in the discus (101’ 3”) and Ritchie in the high jump (5’).

Rounding out the scoring in eighth were Pennington in the 800 (2:35.80), Green in the 1600 (5:56.26), and McMaster in the pole vault (6’ 6”).
