The Lady Bearcats and Lady Wolves of Lincoln crossed paths for a second time this season in the Class 3A Region 1 semifinals Friday in Harrison.

Lincoln, who came to Booneville on Good Friday, used three run fifth and sixth innings to pull away from a close game and win 8-0.

The Lady Bearcats (15-13) were unable to take advantage of two Lincoln errors in the first inning or a two out double by Karmen Kent (shown in a previous game) in the second and the game was scoreless until the third.

Then, Lincoln got a run scoring double.

The Lady Wolves made it 2-0 in the fourth but it was a fifth inning error that plated a run and a double that ran the lead to 5-0.

Leigh Swint singled with one out in the Lady Bearcat sixth and Roni Tillery joined her on the basepaths with two down but both were stranded.

Lincoln added to the lead in the sixth after loading the bases on one hit and a couple of walks, one intentional, and an error.

With the loss the Lady Bearcats will face Valley Springs in a third place game at noon on Saturday and will play in next week's Class 3A state tournament in Lincoln next week.
