Bearcat volleyball will be on the road for the third time in four days today when they travel to West Fork.
The Bearcats will be looking to start the second half of conference play with a win to salvage the week after dropping a 3-1 match at Lavaca and one of 3-2 at Elkins.
In both matches the Bearcats had five players record double digit in digs with Lillian Downs credited with 36 in Lavaca Monday. She followed that up with a team best 27 in Elkins the next night.
In Elkins there were four teammates with more than 20 with Farrah Stringer with 24, Lyddia Franklin 23, Ellie Smith 22, and Kaylee Ray 21.
At Lavaca Franklin had 17, Ray 15, Smith 12, and Stringer 10.
The Bearcats also had two reach double digits in kills at Lavaca with Smith having 12 and Ray 11. The duo both had seven in Elkins to lead the way.
Downs added three aces to her stat sheet in Lavaca.
Smith, Ray, Presley Walker and Franklin all had two blocks in Elkins.
