There are no changes to the Class 3A-1 football conference for the next two year cycle according to conference assignments released this afternoon by the Arkansas Activities Association.
The conference will continue to include Cedarville, Charleston, Greenland, Hackett, Lavaca, Mansfield, and West Fork.
The Bearcats were initially slotted in Class 4A but proposals to allow private schools to count against a classification’s allotted teams, pushed the school back into Class 3A.
Volleyball conference assignments were made a few weeks ago and there will be a change for the Bearcat volleyball team as their league will consist of 10 schools with Charleston, Elkins, Lavaca, Lincoln, Mansfield, Providence Academy, Thaden, and West Fork.
Conference assignments for basketball, baseball, softball, and track will be set following the conclusion of those seasons.
