LADY BEARCATS TO PLAY IN BANK OZK CLASSIC

The Booneville Lady Bearcats will take part in the Bank OZK Classic which gets under way tomorrow in Ozark.

Extended an offer to fill in for a team who had dropped out, head coach Katelyn Holub accepted and the Lady Bearcats slid into the spot vacated by the would-have-been opponent for tournament host Ozark.

The final first round game of play, the tilt with the Lady Hillbillies is set for a 7:20 p.m. tip.

The winner and loser of the game will play the respective loser of a 2 p.m. game between County Line and Atkins on Friday with the two losers facing off at 10 a.m. Friday and the winners playing at 6 p.m.

A third game is set for Saturday against one of the four teams from the bottom half of the bracket. Those teams are Lavaca, Paris, Prairie Grove, and Westside Johnson County.

The other seven schools from the girls bracket are also represented in the boys bracket, along with Shiloh Christian.
