The Booneville Lady Bearcats scored 20 times in two at bats and coasted to a 20-2 win over Cedarville in the Conference 3A-4 opener Tuesday.
The Lady Bearcats had 18 hits, two hit batters, a walk, and did not strike out at all.
Lexi Franklin was 3-for-3 with seven RBI, five in the first inning. She double home two and hit a three run home run, her fourth of the year, in the bottom of the first.
Between the Franklin blasts Peighton Montalvo and Kylie Lunsford got runs home and Farrah Stringer doubled homed home another.
Stringer (shown in the outfield) was also 3-for-3 with three RBI on the day.
Makinley Ensey drove in sixth run before the second out was recorded and Cam Parish singled home a run for an 8-0 lead.
A walk to Roni Tillery brought up Franklin, who delivered the three run home run.
Franklin also threw the first two innings, recording all six outs via strikeout.
After Haylee Taylor singled Stringer doubled to start the second inning onslaught. Ellie Smith drove in a run to make it 13-0.
After two were down Parish was hit by a pitch, Tillery singled home a run, and Franklin doubled home two. A double by Lunsford scored a run, a single by Taylor got one, Stringer singled in another and Raelynn Franklin was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to made it 20-0.
Cedarville got a two run single in the third and the game was called after the inning ended.
The Lady Bearcats are scheduled to visit Paris on Thursday.
