With freshman Makinley Ensey and junior Roni Tillery combining on a no-hitter, the Booneville Lady Bearcats throttled Danville 23-0 Tuesday.
Ensey struck out nine through four innings and Tillery, typically the catcher as shown in a recent game, struck out the side in the fifth and final inning.
Besides throwing the final inning, and despite the run count, Tillery also had the only multiple hit game of the day, going 2-for-4 with four runs batted in.
The Lady Bearcats (12-5, 3-1 Conference 3A-4) removed any doubt with an 11 run top of the first, an inning that started with an Ellie Smith single.
Smith came around to score the first run on a fly ball by Lexi Franklin. She would score five runs in the game.
Twelve different players would score runs in the game with Cam Parish, Farrah Stringer, and Tillery touching home three times and Hayley Taylor making the trip around the bases twice.
The 11-run first inning saw seven walks, two hit batters, and a couple of errors. There would eventually be 18 walks, five hit batters, and Danville was charged with eight errors.
The Lady Bearcats will be back in action Thursday at Paris for a makeup game that was postponed due to weather on March 14.
