The Booneville Lady Bearcats won for the third time in four days Thursday beating Paris10-0 in six innings in a makeup game.
Lexi Franklin (shown in a previous outing) struck out 13 and Paris managed only a single baserunner in the game, reaching when a pop fly fell in the first inning.
After a strikeout ended the first the Lady Bearcats (13-5, 5-1 Conference 3A-4) took a 4-0 lead in the top of the second.
An error allowed Farrah Stringer to reach and a run to score, a Taylor Villarreal double plated one, an Ellie Smith single got another, and a passed ball got the fourth run home.
Cam Parish doubled to deep left field to score a run in the fourth and the Lady Bearcats would extend the lead to 8-0 in the fifth.
In the fifth singles by Franklin and Montalvo started the inning, a single by Kylie Lunsford (3-for-3) scored a run, and a one-out double by Stringer made it 8-0.
Lunsford completed her three hit and three RBI day with a bases loaded single that scored Addison Elmore, who was running for Roni Tillery and Franklin and it was 10-0 through five and a half.
Franklin struck out the side in the bottom of the inning to end it.
The Lady Bearcats will face Two Rivers today at 4:30 and will play the first game of the 3rd annual Raymond Turner Memorial at 8 a.m. Saturday against Mansfield.
