EAVES SHOOTS A 37 IN WALDRON

Bearcat Bryce Eaves shot a field best 37 in a tournament held at the Waldron Country Club yesterday.

Eaves was one of three players to shoot sub-40 rounds, but his was two strokes ahead of the second place rounds.

Though Casey Carter made his golf debut Bearcats did not have a three player contingent so they were not eligible for a team score.

In girls play Emma Ferguson led the Lady Bearcats for the third straight outing, shooting a 50 which was the second best round carded on the day.

With Baylee Parnell, Anna Ferguson, and Kaci DeWitt on the course the Lady Bearcats were one of only two schools with enough players for a team score.

The Bearcat and Lady Bearcat golf teams are set to return to Waldron next Tuesday.
