The Bearcat tennis team took 10 of 11 sets against Paris on Thursday in their second outing against a conference foe of the week.
With the majority of the sets shortened to a race to three game wins eight of the matches were singles with Angie Brown, Raelynn Franklin, Baylee Parnell, and Joslin Combs, twice, won sets for the girls.
Whit Kendall and Gabe Draper (shown) won for the Bearcat boys, against the same opponent, who was the only male player for the Eagles.
Parnell, who had actually played a full set, 6-1, in singles play, teamed with Harley Fitzjurls in a full doubles set win of 7-5.
Emma and Anna Ferguson also won their set and Combs made it a 3-0 day with a doubles set win while paired with Zoie Jones.
The next outing for the tennis squads is set for September 5, in Jessieville.
