FOUR EARN MEDALS IN WALDRON MEET

The Bearcat cross country program was in action for the third time in eight days yesterday, hitting the course at Waldron where four runners collected medals.

In Waldron, which followed a meet last Tuesday in Acorn and for Saturday's Arkansas Marathon Mayor's 5K, for the junior high girls it was Aleena Guajardo running 19th and the junior boys had Jaydon Walker run 13th and Cam Montalvo 19th.

Adding to her medal collection for this season, Abi Schlup ran 6th in the senior girls division.

Cross country head coach Ronnie Denton says his squads may run one more time for a quick meet in Acorn, otherwise the next race will be the district championship, which the Bearcats will host on October 29.
