The 11th annual Bearcat Classic will be held this week at Bearcat Gymnasium.
Rather than a traditional tournament format, or even a classic format guaranteeing two or three games, this year’s event will feature four schools and all teams playing each other in a round robin with both girls and boys teams playing the same school each day.
On Monday the lineup features girls and boys games between Acorn and Ozark starting at 4 and approximately 5:30 p.m., with Lamar serving as the opponent for the Lady Bearcats and Bearcats at approximately 7 and 8:30.
On Wednesday, Acorn and Lamar girls and boys will start at 4 and about 5:30 p.m., followed the by the host girls and boys against Ozark at about 7 and 8:30.
The event concludes Saturday afternoon with the Booneville girls and boys facing Acorn at noon and about 1:30, followed by the Lamar and Ozark girls and boys at about 3 and 4:30 p.m.
