SEVENTH GRADE TEAMS RETURN TO FLOOR FOR SWEEP OF MAGAZINE

After having two games and a jamboree canceled due to last weekend’s weather, the seventh grade Lady Bearcats and Bearcats were finally able to get on the floor on Wednesday afternoon.

The Lady Bearcats and Bearcats would sweep their counterparts from Magazine with the girls winning 21-10 and the boys winning 36-11.

In the girls game it was 17-4 at halftime and the Lady Bearcats added only fourth quarter baskets by Lillie Holt and Bryleigh Hubble.

By halftime Clara Diffee (shown) had already scored 10 points and would lead the Lady Bearcats.

By halftime of the boys game Colt Whitehouse had already scored 11 and it was a 22-5 advantage for the Bearcats.

Whitehouse would finish with 16 with Jaxon Crabtree scoring a second most 5 points. Eight different Bearcats figured into the scoring.

The seventh grade teams will be in action again tonight against Mansfield, starting with the girls game at 4:30 and they will also play in a jamboree at Mansfield on Saturday,
